India makes energy-saving labeling mandatory for UHD TVs

On March 04, 2023, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) of India promulgated the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Ultra-High Definition Televisions) Regulations, 2023, to make labeling mandatory for UHD TVs, which had previously been optional under the energy efficiency labeling system “Standards & Labeling Programme.”
