India amends Rules on registration and responsibilities of vehicle scrapping facilities

On September 16, 2022, the Indian Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) published and enforced the Motor Vehicles (Registration and Functions of Vehicle Scrapping Facility) Amendment Rules, 2022, which partially amend the provisions of the regulations that stipulate the registration and responsibilities of vehicle scrapping facilities. The proposed regulations were announced on March 10 of the same year.
