Vietnam chemical agency announced results of 2024 chemical control inspections

On December 17, 2024, the Vietnam Chemicals Agency (Vinachemia) functioning under the Ministry of Industry and Trade released the summary of inspection activities conducted in 2024. Although the total numbers of inspections and violations in 2024 have not been revealed, the number of violations, Vinachemia says, shows an increasing trend. The most common violation type, which accounts for 22%, related to the mandatory safety training (e.g., no regular training is provided, training is not comprehensive, instructors do not meet standards, etc.).
