Singapore to simplify product registration under GHG regulations and discontinue Climate-Friendly Label

On September 1, 2022, the National Environment Agency (NEA) of Singapore announced that it would introduce an exemption from mandatory product registration and a grace period for non-compliant goods in terms of greenhouse gas (GHG) regulation under the Environmental Protection and Management Act (EPMA. The Agency also announced to discontinue the Climate-Friendly Label. All these changes will become effective on October 1.
