Indonesia’s NPO Calls for Stronger Monitoring and Enforcement on Single-Use Plastic Regulations

The Indonesian environmental NGO “Dietplastik Indonesia” has released a report in February 2026 regarding the monitoring and enforcement of single-use plastic (SUP) regulations in the country. This report summarizes the results of a study covering 30 local governments (districts/ cities) concerning the existence of single-use plastic regulations, as well as the monitoring systems and enforcement cases implemented by each municipality.
