Indonesia Amends Regulations on Environmental Management Plan for Industries in Industrial Zones

The Indonesian Ministry of Industry issued the “Minister of Industry Regulation No. 2/2026 on Procedures for the Preparation and Approval of Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans for Businesses and/or Activities Located in Industrial Zones” on March 4, 2026, which will come into force on April 4, 2026. This regulation replaces the previous “Minister of Industry Regulation No. 1/2020 concerning the Preparation of Detailed Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans for Industries Located or Planning to Locate in Industrial Zones”.
