Indonesia Specifies GHG Reduction Targets and Climate Change Measures for each Sectors

On November 7, 2025, the Indonesian Ministry of Environment issued the "Minister of Environment Regulation No. 23/2025 concerning Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) Targets," which was enforced on the same day. Under the "President Regulation No. 110/2025 on the Implementation of the Carbon Pricing Framework at the National Level and Greenhouse Gas Management", this regulation stipulates Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reduction targets in critical fields such as energy, water, and waste. It also prescribes climate change mitigation measures to be implemented in each sector, as well as adaptation measures to be carried out by the government and local authorities, which the Indonesian government plans to seeking international support.
