Indonesia promulgates regulation requiring businesses to secure competency certified personnel for B3 waste management

On September 4, 2024, the Indonesian government promulgated Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 11/2024 on the Indonesian National Qualification Framework for B3 Waste Management, which entered into effect on the same day. This Regulation requires for business operators involved in hazardous waste (B3 waste) to have personnel holding the relevant competency certificates.
