On November 4, 2022, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change of India published the “Environment (Protection) Third Amendment Rules, 2022” to revise the emission standards for fixed-speed or variable-speed new engines manufactured, assembled, and imported into India, which are used for generator sets with a total machine output of 800 kW or less.
