India Withdraws Quality Control Orders for Pyridine, Beta Picoline, Sodium Tripolyphosphate, H Acid, K Acid and Vinyl Sulphone

On November 12, 2025, India’s Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers published a notification withdrawing the Quality Control Orders (QCOs) concerning the chemicals namely Pyridine, Beta Picoline, Sodium Tripolyphosphate, H acid, K acid, and Vinyl Sulphone. These QCOs were published between 2020 and 2024 and were intended to enforce, but their effective date had all been postponed repeatedly. With this withdrawal order, all of these Quality Control Orders are now null and void.
