DCCEEW of Australia releases proposed reform of WEEE recycling policy and regulations for consultation

According to a report on June 7, 2023 by the Australia and New Zealand Recycling Platform, a peer association of the recycling industry in Oceania, the Australian Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) will publish a public consultation document on WEEE management at the end of June 2023. In the document, the department proposes major policy and regulatory reforms for WEEE recycling in Australia.
