China issues new national standard on hazardous waste signs

On Dec. 30, 2022, China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued a new ecology and environment standard called the Technical Specifications for Setting Identification Sings of Hazardous Waste (HJ 1276-2022). This standard sets rules for hazardous waste signs. It will come into effect July 1, 2023.
