Beijing releases the draft for comments on “Specifications for waste electrical and electronic equipment recycling”

On May 19, 2022, the Beijing Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau released several drafts for comments on local standards, including the “Specifications for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Recycling” in accordance with the enactment and revision plan of Beijing local standard. The period for submitting comments is open until June 19, 2022. The draft of "Specifications for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Recycling" specifies technical requirements for the collection, storage, transportation, treatment, as well as personnel and information management of waste electrical and electronic equipment during the recycling process. The standard is applied to the services and activities of waste electrical and electronic equipment recycling by waste electrical and electronic equipment recycling handlers.
