China MEE Publishes FAQs on New Chemical Substance Registration

On August 21, 2026, the Solid Waste and Chemicals Management Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China published FAQs regarding new chemical substance registration on its official website. The newly published FAQs primarily address application procedures for new chemical substance registration based on the implementation of the Code of Ecology and Environment and the Notice on Matters Concerning New Chemical Substance Environmental Management Registration.
