China updates white list of non-dangerous goods under Yangtze River Protection Law

On May 10, 2023, China’s Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration published on its website an updated white list of goods that are not prohibited for transportation by ship in the Yangtze River basin as dangerous goods under the Yangtze River Protection Law. The list contains hundreds of items belonging to dozens of companies including Japanese-owned businesses.
