Vietnam Announces Prime Minister’s Decision on Roadmap for Reducing GHG Emissions in Transport

On July 22, 2022, the Vietnamese government promulgated Prime Ministerial Decision 876/QD-TTg approving a plan of action to shift to clean energy and reduce carbon dioxide and methane emissions in the transportation sector. The goal of the plan is to promote an environmentally friendly transportation system and achieve zero net greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
