Bangladesh publishes guidelines on management and recycling system for WEEE 
On July 7, 2022, the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) published guidelines on the management and recycling system for waste electrical and electronic equipment. A draft of these guidelines was issued in June 2021 and waste electrical and electronic equipment is classified into the five categories described below. Note that, in Bangladesh, it is recognized that environmentally friendly guidelines on the management and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment are essential in light of the large amount of them generated in the telecommunications sector.
