Taiwan’s Ministry of Environment Announces Draft Amendments on WEEE Recovery

On March 17, 2026, Taiwan’s Ministry of Environment published a draft amendment to the public notice Scope, Facility Installation, Specifications, and Other Compliance Matters for Electrical and Electronic Equipment Retailers Required to Install Resource Recovery Facilities (the public comment period runs for 60 days following the publication date). Additionally, on April 17, 2026, the ministry released a draft amendment to the "Regulations Governing the Management of Regulated Recyclable Waste Recycling and Disposal Enterprises" (the public comment period runs for 30 days following the publication date).
