Taiwan MOL Announces 20 “Priority Management Chemicals” Requiring SDS Submission as Additional Handling Information

On January 28, 2026, Taiwan’s Ministry of Labor (MOL) announced 20 Priority Management Chemicals for which companies must submit additional handling information, specifically Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

Article 10 of the Regulations for the Designation and Handling Management of Priority Management Chemicals states that “when the central competent authority determines that additional relevant handling information is needed for exposure risk assessment of a priority management chemical, handlers may be required to complete the information in Appendix 6 and register it on the designated online platform within the specified timeframe.”
