On February 11, 2022, the China Industrial Energy Conservation and Cleaner Production Association promulgated a organization standard that establishes the Green Design Product Evaluation Technical Code and Quality Control Requirements for “Remanufactured Three-phase Permanent Magnet Motors.” The two organization standards will both come into effect on February 18, 2022. The “Quality Control Requirements” prescribe performance requirements and labeling for remanufactured three-phase permanent magnet motors. For example, different requirements are set for the labels of low-voltage and high-voltage remanufactured motors. The “Green Design Product Evaluation Technical Code” establishes evaluation principles and requirements for green design products for remanufactured three-phase permanent magnet motors.
“Quality Control Requirements for Remanufactured Three-phase Permanent Magnet Motors”
Scope of application: The standard specifies the overall requirements, manufacturing process requirements, performance requirements, inspection regulations, test methods, labels, packaging, and warranty periods for remanufactured three-phase permanent magnet motors. The standard applies to all design, procurement, manufacturing, inspection, installation, and O&M processes to remanufacture low-efficiency three-phase asynchronous motors into high-efficiency three-phase permanent magnet motors.
Labeling requirements: The labeling of remanufactured three-phase permanent magnet motors must comply with the requirements of the applicable product standard labels, energy efficiency labels, and remanufactured labels. The original label must be removed from low-voltage remanufactured motors. The original label must be retained on high-voltage remanufactured motors, and a GB/T755-compliant label indicating the correction made to the remanufactured three-phase permanent magnet motor, including the remanufacturer’s name and remanufacturing date, must be added.
The letters and indications on the outside of the box must clearly indicate the following: 1) The name of the shipping point and the remanufacturer; 2) The name of the receiving point and the recipient organization; 3) The model number and serial number of the remanufactured three-phase permanent magnet motor; 4) The net weight of the remanufactured three-phase permanent magnet motor and the total weight, including the box; 5) The size of the box; 6) The words “Instructions”, “Attention to moisture” should be displayed in the appropriate place of the box, and other graphic symbols should comply with the provisions of GB/T 191.
“Green Design Product Evaluation Technology Code: Remanufactured three-phase permanent magnet motors”
Scope of application: The standard specifies evaluation principles and requirements for remanufactured three-phase permanent magnet motor green design products, methods for preparing product life cycle evaluation reports, and methods for evaluating green design products. The standard applies to green design product evaluations of remanufactured three-phase permanent magnet motors and includes the entire lifecycle from raw material acquisition to motor manufacturing, local installation, O&M, and recycling and disposal.
