China releases “Environmental protection comprehensive list (2021 version)” 
On November 2, 2021, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China released the “Environmental protection comprehensive list (2021 version)”. The list is used as the basis for the government to formulate and implement various regulations and plans, such as making the “Dangerous chemical list”, implementing the trade restriction on products, making tax policies and etc. The outline of the latest version is as follows.
Overall composition
- High pollution and high environmental risk products: 932 types.
- Excluded technologies of the above “high pollution and high environmental risk products”: 159 types.
- Key equipment for environmental protection: 79 types.
VOC related additions
“Plastic printing products for packaging and decoration” is added into the list of “high pollution” products.
