China publishes drafts on 5 compulsory national standards 
On July 22, 2021, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) published drafts on 5 compulsory national standards, including “Household and similar electrical appliances general requirements-Product safety” and launched a call for opinions. The comment period is from July 21, 2021 to September 20, 2021. The following is a summary of the 5 standards.
