China Updates Mandatory PPE Provision Standards

On June 9, 2026, the Ministry of Emergency Management of China released the draft revisions for Parts 1–4 (General Rules, Petroleum/Chemical/Natural Gas, Metallurgy/Nonferrous Metals, and Non-Coal Mines) and the draft for Part 14 (Food) of the mandatory national standard Specifications for the provision of personal protective equipment (GB 39800) to solicit public comments.
