China Opens Public Comment Period for Hazardous Waste Utilization and Disposal Standards

On May 26, 2026, the Solid Waste and Chemicals Management Technology Center of China's Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) announced a long-term solicitation for opinions and proposals regarding encouraged, restricted, and phased-out technologies and equipment for hazardous waste utilization and disposal.
