China Promotes Eco-Design Integration in Environmental Management Systems with Recommended National Standard

On April 30, 2026, the State Administration for Market Regulation of China issued GB/T 24006-2026, Environmental management systems—Guidelines for incorporating eco-design, a recommended national standard establishing guidelines to integrate eco-design into environmental management systems. The standard will take effect on August 1, 2026. Its main contents are as follows:
