Event Report: Chemical Environmental Management Policy Training Hosted by Chinese Regulatory Authorities–Part 1

From May 28 to 29, 2026, the Solid Waste and Chemicals Management Technology Center of the Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment (the competent authority supervising new chemical management, toxic chemical management, solid waste management, and hazardous waste management) held a training seminar in Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, under the theme of "2026 Chemical Environmental Management Policy and Technology." The training provided comprehensive explanations on regulatory trends in chemical management under the "Ecology and Environment Code," regulatory actions regarding new pollutants management, trends in new chemical substance registration, and practical chemical management case studies in Jiangsu Province.
