China MEM Plans to Add Five Chemical Substances to the Catalogue of Hazardous Chemicals

On January 21, 2026, China’s Ministry of Emergency Management (MEM) published a draft announcement on its official website proposing the addition of five chemical substances to the Catalogue of Hazardous Chemicals. The deadline for public comments is February 21, 2026.
