China Announces Action Plan for Nitrous Oxide Emission Control in Industry Sector

On Aug. 27, 2025, China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment announced an Action Plan for Nitrous Oxide Emission Control in the Industry Sector. The action plan aims to promote the green and low-carbon transformation of industry while implementing the Opinions on Fully Promoting the Development of Beautiful China issued by the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and the State Council¹.
