China issues mandatory national standard for classification, labeling of desensitized explosives

On June 30, 2025, China issued a mandatory national standard for the classification and labeling of desensitized explosives, titled “Specification for Classification and Labelling of Chemicals—Part 30: Desensitized Explosives” (GB 30000.30-2025). It will come into effect July 1, 2026. The standard represents enhanced consistency of China’s chemical hazard classification system with international standards.
