Zhejiang, China issues a plan to promote the development and construction of “Zero-Carbon Factory”

On February 26, 2025, the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang Province issued the “Zero-Carbon (Near-Zero) Factory Development and Construction Plan (2025-2027)”. This plan aims to achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals in the industrial sector by developing and constructing ten zero-carbon factories annually. The plan outlines the process for developing and constructing zero-carbon factories and specifies support measures.
