China issues guidelines to promote voluntary corporate disclosure of greenhouse gas information

On February 14, 2025, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China issued the “Guidelines on Promoting Voluntary Corporate Disclosure of Greenhouse Gas Information (hereinafter referred to as the “Guidelines”. The Guidelines aims to promote voluntary disclosure of greenhouse gas (GHG) information, strengthen GHG emission management, and promote voluntary emission reductions.
