China issues national standard for safety risk assessment of chemical industrial parks

On Jan. 24, 2025, China’s State Administration for Market Regulation issued a recommended national standard called the Guidelines for Comprehensive Safety Risk Assessment of Chemical Industry Park (GB/T 45233-2025). This standard deals with the safety risk assessment of chemical industrial parks. It advises conducting safety risk assessment at least every three years. The important points of the standard are outlined below.
