China to strictly regulate new installation of boilers 
On March 28, 2024, China’s State Administration for Market Regulation published “opinions” on carrying out an action plan to promote green, low-carbon, high-quality boilers.
The opinions are based on the country’s Special Equipment Safety Law1 and Energy Conservation Law2, and aim to accelerate the green and low-carbon shift of newly installed boilers, accelerate the replacement and upgrading of existing boilers, and continuously improve the operation of boilers.
