China starts accepting 2024 applications for designation as model manufacturer of recycled chemical fibers

On March 11, 2024, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced that it started accepting 2024 applications for designation as a model manufacturer of recycled chemical fibers. Applicants need to pass reviews by the industry departments of the province and state to be designated as such.

By being model manufacturers, companies can demonstrate that they use advanced technology, have installed environmental protection equipment, use energy efficiently, have implemented a work safety system, etc. for the production of recycled chemical fibers. Applications must be submitted by May 31, 2024.
