China’s Guangdong province published revised calculation methods for industrial VOC, NOx emission reductions

On Nov. 17, 2023, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Guangdong province, China, published 2023 versions of calculation methods for the reduction of volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions from industrial sources and nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from specified key industrial operations.

The VOC emission reduction calculation methods are used in relation to industrial facility upgrading for comprehensive VOC emission control, and adopt different emission calculation approaches depending on the industry.
