Vietnam Publishes National Action Plan to Tackle Air Pollution through 2045

On November 19, 2025, the Vietnamese Government issued Decision No. 2530/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister: Approving the National Action Plan on Air Pollution Remediation and Air Quality Management for the 2026–2030 period, with a vision toward 2045. This Decision takes effect from the date of signing.

Overall Objectives for the 2026–2030 Period: The plan sets objectives to control, prevent, and improve air pollution conditions in key areas, specifically in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), and neighboring regions, aiming to build a green and sustainable economy.
