On August 11, 2026, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), through the National Plastic Action Partnership (NPAP) in Vietnam and the Vietnam Circular Economy Hub (CE Hub), organized a workshop titled “Pathways for a Robust Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) System in Vietnam.” The workshop brought together representatives from the Viet Nam Environment Agency, as well as relevant agencies and businesses.

At the workshop, a representative from the Department of Environment presented on the direction for refining EPR regulations in accordance with the amended Environmental Protection Law and the guiding decree. At the same time, participants also contributed their opinions on the proposed regulatory directions.
