Vietnam Issues Circular Implementing the Law on Chemicals and Its Decrees

On January 17, 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam promulgated Circular No. 01/2026/TT‑BCT, “Detailing and Providing Guidance on the Implementation of Certain Articles of the Law on Chemicals and Decree No. 26/2026/ND‑CP on the Management of Chemical Activities and Hazardous Chemicals in Products and Goods.” The circular takes effect on the date of promulgation and fully replaces Circular No. 32/2017/TT‑BCT and Circular No. 17/2022/TT‑BCT.
