Vietnam Issues National Technical Regulation on Emissions from Motorcycles and Mopeds

On December 31, 2025, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Vietnam promulgated Circular 92/2025/TT‑BNNMT, which establishes the National Technical Regulation on Motorcycles and Mopeds Operating in Road Traffic (QCVN 99:2025/BNNMT). The circular will take effect on June 30, 2026, after which a roadmap based on the prime minister’s provisions will apply. However, as of the end of December 2025, the roadmap itself remains in draft form.
