Vietnam Issues Circular on Products and Schedule Subject to Energy Labeling

On November 14, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam promulgated Circular No. 52/2025/TT-BCT on List of Vehicles and Equipment Required to Obtain Energy Labels under the Management Scope and Implementation Roadmap of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The circular will take effect on January 1, 2026. It specifies the list of products required to display energy labels and the schedule for implementation.

Products Subject to Energy Labeling and Implementation Schedule

The Circular sets forth the following products and schedules for mandatory energy labeling. Products scheduled to require labeling beginning January 1, 2027, may be labeled voluntarily prior to that date.
