Vietnam Issues Prime Minister Decision on Green Taxonomy

On July 4, 2025, the Government of Vietnam promulgated Prime Minister Decision No. 21/2025/QĐ-TTg, titled “Environmental Criteria and Certification for Investment Projects Listed under the Green Taxonomy”. Under this Decision, projects that qualify for and are certified under the Green Taxonomy are eligible to receive policy incentives and support from the government in relation to green credit and green bonds. The Decision will enter into force on August 22, 2025.
