Vietnam Issues Standards on Environmental Safety Distances Between Waste Disposal Facilities and Residential Areas

On February 12, 2025, Vietnam’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) issued Circular No. 02/2025/TT-BTNMT, establishing the technical standard QCVN 01:2025/BTNMT on National technical regulation on environmental safety distance from residential areas to production, business, service facilities and warehouses at risk of spreading dust, unpleasant odors, noise causing adverse effects on human health.
