On March 14, 2025, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), in collaboration with the National Assembly’s Committee on Science, Technology, and Environment, held a consultation meeting on the proposed amendments to the Law on Chemicals at the National Assembly headquarters. The seminar was attended by experts from the Committee on Science, Technology, and Environment; VCCI Deputy Secretary-General and Head of the Legal Department, Dau Anh Tuan; representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade; private sector stakeholders; and industry associations. The revised Law on Chemicals is set to take effect on January 1, 2026, invalidating the existing Law on Chemicals of 2007 (06/2007/QH12).
