Vietnam promulgates regulations on GHG inventory in waste management sector

On December 29, 2023, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) of Vietnam promulgated Circular No. 28/2023/TT-BTNMT on Economic and Technical Standards for Greenhouse Gas Inventory and Measurement, Reporting and Verification Activities in the Waste Management Sector. These standards apply to the calculation of unit prices for conducting greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory and measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) of GHG emission reductions in the waste management sector, and are used to estimate and set prices for related activities.
