Vietnam Promulgates Eco-Label Criteria on Environmentally Friendly Plastic Packaging 
On November 7, 2023, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam established Decision No. 3257/QD-BTNMT Promulgating Vietnam Eco-Label Criteria Applicable to Environmentally Friendly Plastic Packaging and enforced it on the same day. Following the Decision, the Criteria No. NSTVN-01:2023 on Vietnam Eco-Label for Environmentally Friendly Plastic Packaging (hereinafter referred to as the Criteria) was newly established. The Criteria stipulate the concrete standards for being certificated as environmentally friendly plastic packaging. The target of the standards is biodegradable and recycled plastic packaging used in a wide range of areas.
