Malaysia Releases Hydrogen Economic & Technology Roadmap 
The Malaysian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) has launched the Hydrogen Economy & Technology Roadmap (HETR) on October 5, 2023. The objective of this roadmap is to develop a more innovative and inclusive hydrogen economy to transition towards the use of hydrogen towards decarbonization in the country. The roadmap identifies five main strategies and additionally 29 action plans. The development of hydrogen industry is one of the initiatives proposed in the 12th Malaysia Plan, the National Energy Transition Roadmap, and the National Energy Policy 2022-2040, which were all announced in the same year.
