Taiwan Amends Inspection Rules for Lithium-Ion Power Banks

On July 1, 2026, Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs released a draft amendment to the Legal Inspection Requirements for Lithium-Ion Power Banks and Other Power Supply Equipment. Under this amendment, products previously classified under the existing category of "3C lithium-ion power banks" are subdivided into three distinct categories:
