China publishes draft standard that provides guidelines for evaluating implementation of pollution discharge standards

On Nov. 6, 2024, China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment published a draft national ecology and environment standard for the evaluation of the implementation of national standards for pollution discharge, which is titled “Technical Guideline for the Implementation Assessment of National Pollutant Emission Standards”. The ministry is seeking comments on the draft through Dec. 10, 2024.
