China’s Shanghai publishes mandatory air pollution emission standard for manufacturers of paints, inks, similar products

On Sept. 24, 2024, the Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Shanghai, China published a mandatory local standard called the Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Paint, Ink and Allied Products Industry. This is an update to the currently implemented standard, DB 31/881-2015, and will come into effect Dec. 1, 2024. There are no changes from the draft released in 2023.
