China issues mandatory national standard that sets limits on energy consumption per unit of production for TDI, MDI

On April 29, 2024, the Chinese government published a mandatory national standard called the Norm of Energy Consumption per Unit Production of Toluene Diisocyanate and Diphenyl Methane Diisocyanate. The standard will come into effect May 1, 2025.

This standard combines the Norm of Energy Consumption per Unit Product of Toluene Diisocyanate (GB 31828-2015) and the Norm of Energy Consumption per Unit Product of Diphenyl Methane Diisocyanate (GB 31830-2015) into one new standard.
